We make a distinction between what we tested, what an official source says, and what we estimate. Those are different kinds of evidence and should not look the same.

Tested / Measured

A repeatable workflow run with recorded output, artifacts or both. We separate a tool’s output quality from a sign-in gate, prompt echo or other setup friction.

Sourced

A public claim checked against an official source. Pricing records preserve the visible currency, billing context and last-verified date.

Estimated

A transparent calculation based on named inputs. Estimates never masquerade as a vendor-published price, test result or guaranteed time saving.

Automation safety

Start with the minimum useful access.

A helpful draft does not require inbox, calendar or file-drive access. We encourage a progression from Paste to Upload, Read, Act and Autonomous only when the task needs it. At higher levels, check the scope, review controls, logs, deletion/undo options and the person accountable for the result.

Recommendation standard

Workflow fit before price or commission.

A recommendation should explain who it is for, the intended output, information supplied or connected, evidence status, last verification date, likely setup/review burden, limits and a safer or lower-cost alternative where one is established. Affiliate disclosure never changes these standards.
