Pending safe baseline
Run only if a no-login or project-safe route produces a distinct answer. Keep scores blank for prompt echo, login gates, or incomplete output.
This evidence log tests a safe first workflow: paste fictional weekly planning notes into a general AI assistant and ask for a review-only calendar plan. No Google Calendar, Outlook, Gmail, Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, WhatsApp, Apple Calendar, reminder app, task system, CRM, project-management tool, phone/contact system, invite, message, or live workflow action was used.
In the synthetic Northstar Candle Co. calendar fixture, ChatGPT scored 4.49/5 and Duck.ai scored 4.05/5. Both handled privacy and no-live-action boundaries well. ChatGPT did a better job sequencing the week, while Duck.ai needed more repair around HarborFit prep/follow-up and the wholesale reorder deadline.
The practical workflow is: paste only approved notes, make the AI show conflicts and assumptions, then have a person edit replies and manually add any events or reminders.
Scores cover the separable assistant answer only. Setup friction, prompt echo, connector pressure, and pending routes are tracked separately in the evidence CSVs.
| Tool | Score | Last tested | What worked | What to review |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | 4.49/5 | 2026-06-20 | Best current result. It found the Wednesday protected-focus conflict, Friday-afternoon customer-call boundary, pickup-buffer privacy boundary, tentative Cedar Room status, and no-live-action constraint. The schedule included the key HarborFit prep/follow-up, wholesale reorder review, Jules, Cedar prep, and Friday retro-note placements. | Draft replies were less concrete than the schedule table: HarborFit and Lakeview need exact time options before sending, Cedar Room wording should be changed from will send to review-only, and the extra Thursday reorder finalization block needs human approval. |
| Duck.ai | 4.05/5 | 2026-06-20 | Strong privacy and no-live-action handling. It avoided the Wednesday protected focus block, preserved the Thursday pickup buffer, kept Cedar Room tentative, avoided booking Lakeview on Friday afternoon, and produced useful draft replies and tasks. | It put HarborFit prep in the morning instead of immediately before the 15:00 call, did not give a clean HarborFit 30-minute Tuesday-afternoon/Wednesday-morning follow-up slot, and missed part of the wholesale reorder sequencing before the Thursday noon deadline. |
A pending row is not a quality judgment. It means we have not yet saved a full, distinct assistant answer through a safe no-login or project-safe route.

Prior no-login Copilot checks often showed prompt echo rather than usable output. Treat as setup friction unless a visible assistant response appears.
The fixture uses Northstar Candle Co., a fictional small business. The assistant has to turn messy schedule notes into a conflict check, proposed weekly schedule table, prep/follow-up blocks, draft replies, manual reminders, questions, and a safety checklist.
A strong answer must protect personal details, avoid the Wednesday focus block and Thursday pickup buffer, avoid Friday-afternoon customer calls, schedule reorder work after the finance check-in but before Thursday noon, and never claim live calendar or reminder actions.
The prompt deliberately separates schedule triage and draft replies from calendar/email/task automation.

The paste-only protocol: sanity prompt, screenshots, raw page text, submitted prompt, cleaned assistant output, metadata, no-score blockers, and strict connector boundaries.
Calendar assistants can expose personal appointments, customers, availability, family logistics, invite lists, and workplace systems. A useful draft is not permission to automate scheduling.
Early Search Console hints include Google Calendar assistant queries, but the safe path is still evidence-first: score the paste-only reasoning, then test connector permissions on fake data before any live scheduling, invite, reminder, task, or message action.
A reader-facing checklist for Google Calendar AI assistant and Outlook calendar assistant searches: start paste-only, then inspect OAuth scopes, audit logs, reminder/invite behavior, and revoke paths before connecting live calendars.
Use this when calendar help is part of a broader admin workflow with inbox triage, meeting notes, weekly reports, task lists, forms, PDFs, and workflow automation boundaries.
A broader route map for assistant or agent-for-work queries before granting inbox, calendar, files, browser, CRM, finance, HR, legal, medical, or live-action access.
Calendar searches often hide different jobs: pure conflict checking, executive-assistant scheduling, reminder creation, or task triage. Keep them separate until a sandbox proves connector behavior.

| Google Calendar AI assistant or Outlook calendar assistant | Start with the paste-only conflict check on this page, then use the free Google/Outlook support guide to inspect OAuth scopes, invite/reminder behavior, audit logs, revoke paths, and delete/export controls. | free Google/Outlook calendar guide |
| AI executive assistant, office assistant, or admin scheduling helper | Route broader admin searches to the admin-professional starter stack so scheduling is tested alongside inbox, meeting, weekly-report, task, form, PDF, and workflow boundaries. | admin-professional starter stack |
| Personal-assistant app, reminder assistant, or task-calendar assistant | Keep reminders, tasks, and calendar edits separate until a fake-workspace connector test proves permissions, notifications, undo, and human approval gates. | personal-assistant boundary map |
The current scores cover two public web prompt-only runs using a synthetic fixture. They do not test paid plans, real calendar availability, OAuth permissions, Gmail/Outlook inboxes, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace integrations, reminders, task managers, mobile notifications, meeting-room booking, invite sending, rescheduling, customer messages, contact lookup, stored memory, or live action-taking. New rows will be added only when raw output or setup-friction evidence is saved and scored with the same rubric discipline.
